Bel-Con's Owners Recognized
Bel-Con Design-Builders is pleased to announce that Tom Gunsinger and Michelle Stephens, co-owners of the company, were recently recognized for their support of Dan Gooding, a valued employee and member of the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves.
Tom and Michelle were invited to a Special Recognition Ceremony at the Fort Frontenac Officers’ Mess where they received an award nominated by Dan himself. This award acknowledges Bel-Con's commitment to supporting Dan's military service, specifically ensuring his job as a carpenter remained available after his 9-month deployment in 2023.
"We are incredibly grateful for Dan's dedication to our country," says Tom Gunsinger. "As a reservist, Dan goes above and beyond by continually training and deploying on missions both at home and abroad. It's an honor to have him on our team, and we are happy to support his service in any way we can."
Michelle Stephens adds, "Dan's commitment to the Reserves is an inspiration to us all. We believe that supporting our employees' diverse pursuits is essential to building a strong and successful company culture."
The recognition ceremony was part of the Canadian Armed Forces' ExecuTrek program, an initiative that not only acknowledges employers who champion reservists but also raises awareness of the valuable training these individuals receive. Executrek highlights the numerous benefits of having reservists on your team, including their strong work ethic, leadership skills, and ability to adapt to changing situations.
