Where Safety Meets Manufacturing!
Recently, invited guests had the opportunity to attend another in the 'Bel-Con Presents' series of presentations.
This educational series is part of Bel-Con Design-Builders Ltd commitment to presenting the 'best of the best' to inform local manufacturers and industry on matters of relevant interest.
This most recent seminar event was held at the newly designed and constructed SafeStart facility in Belleville's North East Industrial Park by Bel-Con.
The Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters provided a synopsis of the recent Industrie 2030 Summit held in Ottawa, while SafeStart discussed 24/7 Safety Leadership in a manufacturing and non-manufacturing environment.
Following the presentation, The Canadian Manufactures & Exporters team were given a tour of the new SafeStart facility as well as Hanon Systems Canada Inc.
Pictured here at Hanon (l-r) is Marie Morden, Manager of Stakeholder Relations and Mathew Wilson, Senior V.P of Canadian Manufactures & Exporters, Tom Gunsinger, President of Bel-Con Design-Builders Ltd and Vaughn Andrew, Facilities Manager of Hanon Systems. Also pictured (above), is Don Wilson of SafeStart and Mathew Wilson of the CME during their highly informative discussions.
The CME (Canadian Manufactures & Exporters) were duly impressed with the quality of manufacturing in Belleville. When asked for his impressions, Mathew Wilson (Senior Vice President, CME) said: "On behalf of CME (Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters), I would like to thank Bel-Con and the exceptional group of Belleville manufacturers we met. We look forward to continuing to work with Bel-Con in 2017 as part of its 'Bel-Con Presents' series to meet manufacturers throughout Eastern & Central Ontario. Together, we can manufacture change."
