Bel-con worked with Cam Tran Co. Ltd. in Colborne, Ontario, a 30+ year client, on a very challenging site to build a 28,000 s.f. addition on an existing building. The design of the project from start to finish was a team effort that brought together the people that would be working in or managing this plant with the engineers, designers, and workers that were building the structure.
This project had an eave height of approximately 24' and spans between columns of 50', all to house equipment necessary to run their plant effectively. The new building included two 14' wide x 16' high overhead doors strategically placed to give the ability for transports with very large cargo to pass completely through the building. In addition, there is a 10 Tonne crane to off-load product from these transports directly to the location necessary in the plant's production line. This was just one of the over 25 successful projects we have worked on with the same great client of over 30 years.
