Spoolon Manufacturing is a family owned and operated business located in Cobourg Ontario that produces all types and sizes of spools for the electrical cable industry. Bel-Con has completed many projects with Spoolon dating back to 1975, and have included new warehouse, manufacturing and office facilities. This client has always kept an eye on energy efficiency and functional space and as a result, natural lighting and quality insulation are always a priority. The most recent 14,000 sq ft addition includes Butler’s new SunLite Strip daylighting system to illuminate the warehouse while minimizing need for electrical lighting expense. The walls are Butler’s Butlerib prefinished siding and the roof is Butler’s MR-24 standing seam roof.
